Fashions with Flair

This is a dress I made for Brattleboro Area Hospice's first Wild Night on the Catwalk fashion show. We had to use at least one item from one of our 2 thrift stores. I used a dark blue purple jacket, which I cut into many pieces then appliqued the pieces onto silk panels which I had dyed. The bodice was brailded in silk and wool. The "jewels" were from a play my husband Stewart was in many years ago. The model is Toni Baldi-a lovely woman inside and out!
